Weekend in photos. Hakkasan + Maddox secret room

I've so far spent this weekend sleeping, recovering from a long dinner and drinks with friends on Friday at the new Hakkasan in Mayfair. This place just opened it's doors, a little smaller than the classic Hakkasan but equally glamorous . A place I recommend you go if you get the opportunity. After we were invited to the inauguration of a secret room in Maddox.

I wore a dress from Urban Outfitters, vintage sunglasses, boots Walter Steiger, Gap tights, Zara coat and my mum's vintage fox hat.

This was possibly the coolest weekend ever.

Dancing like rockstars.

Este fin de semana he pasado mucho tiempo descansando para recomponerme de una cena larga y drinks con amigos el viernes en el nuevo Hakkasan de Mayfair. Es un sitio que acaban de inaugurar, un poco más pequeño que el clásico Hakkasan pero igual de glamuroso. La comida buenísima y el servicio un diez. Nos trataron a la perfección gracias a la amabilidad de todo el staff dirigido por mi amiga Caroline Jameson. Os lo recomiendo para los que vengáis a Londres si tenéis la oportunidad.

Después de Hakkasan nos invitaron a la inaguración de una habitación secreta en el Member's club Maddox.

Yo llevaba un vestido de Urban Outfitters, medias de puntos de Gap, abrigo de Zara y un gorro de piel de zorro de mi madre y gafas vintage de Bricklane.

And this is an example done by me. One outfit + my graphic design.

Siempre me han encantado los editoriales de las revistas cuando hacen algo artístico. Por eso mis revistas preferidas son Wonderland, ID, o Dazed and Confused ya que siempre llevan moda increíble unido a un diseño gráfico que roza para mi gusto el arte.

Today we went ski-ing

My current state...Drowning under piles of books, notes, drawings and cups of tea to get to finish my new collection, and when I must venture outside, wrapping myself in wool to face the cold, wind and the london rain. I guess you must see it weird but I love this weather. Putting on my indestructible black leather boots, and all these layers, sweater, blouse, coat, wool socks, and if the weather is stormy, gloves, my jumper ¨we went ski-ing¨ and a fur hat. Wearing all that I feel like I can just walk through the snow forever.

Mi estado actual ...

Ahogada debajo de un montón de libros, revistas , apuntes, dibujos, y tazas de té para conseguir terminar mi nueva colección. Y si tengo que salir, me envuelvo en jerseys de lana para hacer frente al viento, y la lluvia de Londres. Supongo que lo veis raro debido a mis raíces, pero a mi me encanta este clima. Poder llevar mis botas de cuero negro siempre y todas esas capas. Jersey , blusa , abrigo , medias de lana, y si el clima es realmente tormentoso mi jersey negro ¨ We went ski-ing¨ o o mi capucha de piel. Y llevando todo esto me siento que puedo caminar tranquilamente sobre la nieve.

Aunque no nos conocemos, soy asidua lectora de tu blog y admiradora de tus creaciones.

Estoy tan contenta que solo quería mandarte unas líneas para contarte que el viernes, que fue mi cumpleaños, mi precioso novio me regaló dos joyas tuyas con las que me quedé alucinando. Fueron elección suya absolutamente, al igual que la idea de regalarme algo tuyo, dice que anduvo rebuscando por internet y al encontrar una foto de una de tus pulseras se quedó tan maravillado que la buscó hasta encontrarla.....menuda pasada!!!!!Lo estrené todo el viernes noche en mi celebración....y estoy contentísima, los voy a disfrutar y a cuidar como un tesoro, jaja! Adjutno una fotillo..Un saludo y sigue así!! Un abrazo, Bea

Some things never change

I wish I have more photographic evidence of things I liked when I was younger, because from the few photos and memories I have is interesting to see the continuity in my choice of clothing. Most times when I buy clothes is because there is something that attracts me, something I may have seen before that I liked in a magazine ,  in a friend or  in a movie.  But I also realise that for some reason there are some things that I've always liked to wear, and probably I will keep doing it. For example, shoes + cutesy socks, mini white dresses,  trench coats, silk blouses, wool sweaters, fox fur scarves, t-shirts + long necklaces, classic Levis 501 shorts or sandals with ankle straps.

Some things never change.

The clasp comes as a pin so you can wear it as a short necklace, long necklace or you can even make it a chunky bracelet!

Me gustaría tener más evidencia fotográfica de cosas que me gustaban cuando era más pequeña, porque a partir de las pocas fotos y recuerdos que tengo es interesante ver la continuidad en la elección de la ropa. La mayoría de las veces cuando compro ropa es porque hay algo que me atrae , algo que tal vez he visto que me ha gustado,  en alguna revista o alguna amiga llevándolo o que me recuerda a alguna actriz en una película. Pero por alguna razón hay algunas cosas que siempre me ha gustado llevar, y probablemente lo siga haciendo. Como por ejemplo, zapatos + calcetines cortos, mini vestidos blancos,  gabardinas, jerseys de lana , bufandas de piel de zorro, camiseta simple más collar largo, blusas de seda, shorts clásicos Levis 501 o sandalias con tobillera. 

Algunas cosas nunca cambian.
