ART TRIP TO MIAMI

WITH MODEL AND STAR BLOGGER
JENNY LOPEZ

Just arrived back home from
 a lovely vacation trip to Miami!

 I began my trip by meeting up with my friend Jenny. Jenny is a model turned star blogger. 
She collaborates with Vogue Mexico
and she has been named as one of the 
Miami Design District ambassadors.

We went visiting the Pérez Art Museum in Miami (PAMM)
 and had lunch over there.

After we finished the Pérez Art Museum, we went to Wynwood, 
a neighborhood in Miami full of galleries, concept stores and street art. 
 A lot of the sides of houses in Wynwood have street art
 and graffiti murals on them. I really loved the energy and art vibe of this area!
Wynwood Walls feature some of the worlds most renowned street artists.

 Jenny is such a fan of  my collection "For your eyes only"!

#VOGUE100 EXHIBITION

VOGUE 100: A CENTURY OF STYLE.

THE PROJECT 

Who, What, Where, When, Why, How?

It's fashion season, yet again! An exciting time of the year was made even more interesting as I had

 the lovely opportunity to design for the Vogue100 exhibition, at the National Portrait Gallery in

 London. I was asked to select two covers and develop collections based on each of the covers by

 Vogue. The end product was a 7 piece lip collection, based on a 1960's cover. Can't you imagine

 Eddie Sedgwick wearing the drop earrings? I can, very fabulous, very Kylie Jenner lips a la 60's!

 The seven pieces includes necklaces, ring, studs, drop earrings and a bracelet.

THE INSPIRATION AND DESIGN 

This is one of the two covers I considered, but did not opt for, as the NPG felt that the lip

 collection was really rocking. It's always such fun to work with Vogue, and 

especially to celebrate their 100 years. You'd never know by its cover that it's

 100 years, I guess botox really does work... 

THE LAUNCH PARTY

This was the launch of the exhibition, there we're tons of celebrities and press personalities.

 It's so humbling to have such great talents interested in my pieces, thanks guys! :)  

I am so happy and honored to get to work on this project, 

I truly think the National Portrait Gallery is one of the best museums in the world, 

and the project has truly been a pleasure!

THE PROCESS

It has been such a fun and exciting process collaborating with Topshop and I am so
 honored to be creating a capsule collection for them, as their only Spanish collaborator. 
The Topshop design team is in my honest opinion, the best team out there. 
High risk allows for high rewards, and I feel like this applies to Topshop, their risks are
 always very worth taking and always result in high end design. 
Unlike big brands, Freedom does everything in-house - they know everything about the
 jewelry down to the exact bead.

The pieces are perfect for the Topshop fashionista, but who is she?. She is confident, brave, edgy, independent, fabulous, colorful, fashion savy, and makes no fashion faux pas, because there are none when it comes to Freedom. 
This is what Topshop and Patricia Nicolas stands for, and has resulted in our collaboration, celebrating style, fashion and the women who wear it.

La colaboración con Topshop UK ha sido una de las más emocionantes y divertidas de mi vida. 
Estoy muy orgullosa de haber creado una colección cápsula para ellos, y más siendo ya la
 segunda vez y  la única marca española que lo ha hecho hasta el momento. 
El equipo de diseño de Topshop es, en mi opinión, el mejor que hay ahora mismo en el
 mundo. La expresión “si no arriesgas, no ganas” les viene perfecta. 
Sus riesgos siempre dan como resultado productos con el mejor diseño. 
A diferencia de otras grandes marcas, en Freedom for TOPSHOP todo lo hacen en su
 estudio, y por eso me siento identificada; conocen las piezas desde el primero dibujo

It's been a few years since my first collaboration with Freedom at Topshop with the collection "The Art of Kissing" in 2013, and I am so pleased to announce that our SECOND project together has been launched today! The jewellery is based on the "Bomb Shell" collection and are available in Topshop flagship store at Oxford Circus and online.

My good friend Pixie Lott  already has the crab necklace and earrings!...She posted this photo for her 306K followers in Instagram.

¡Hoy es el gran día! 
Ya ha pasado un tiempo desde mi primera colaboración con Freedom at Topshop con la colección "The Art of Kissing" en 2013, y ahora estoy muy contenta de poder anunciar que nuestro segundo proyecto juntos ha salido hoy a la venta. La colección cápsula y de edición limitada para Topshop UK sale hoy a la venta en la Flagship Store de Oxford Circus y online.

Capsule Collection 

Patricia Nicolas for Freedom at Topshop

Today will go down in history! 

I've launched my second capsule collection for Topshop, 
and yes my blood and tears went into it but it was worth it!
Nothing worth doing is easy, and this is true in terms of this collaboration. 
The British standard is high, making this project all the more difficult, 
but also incredibly rewarding!

Hoy hacemos historia...

He lanzado mi segunda colección cápsula con Topshop, y sí... me ha costado sudor y lágrimas ¡pero ha merecido la pena! 

El estándar británico es muy alto y esto ha hecho que el proyecto sea todavía más duro, pero mucho más gratificante! Muchas gracias a todos mis amigos, fieles seguidores y clientes por todo el apoyo ! :)
