PACHA

THE OPENING
OF
PACHA MALLORCA

It's time to party! Let's dance!

Summer is on the verge of breaking out, and we all need a break from the very long winter we've had this year (but then again, every winter is the longest winter...) I spent 5 days in Palma de Mallorca with my friend Maria who owns Studio Sentmenat ; tanning, enjoying cocktails, reading books, and eating good sea-food. You know, vacationy things.
The reason I went there was because Pacha Mallorca had its' opening party. I went with Clara Courel, Hugo Portuondo, and some other friends, together we danced all night, the music was great and the atmosphere was on point!
Enjoy the pictures of my weekend…

I am wearing Walter Steiger shoes, a Valentino bag,
a Zara dress and "Crabby Day" necklace
from the collection Bomb Shell.
Maria is wearing a dress from Isabel Marant.
Clara is wearing her fabulous self!

Me, Maria and Clara ready to party!

The Day After: what better place to spend hungover than by the pool?

MUST WATCH DOCUMENTARY OF THE WEEK.
(CANAL + )

On May 25th,the 75 year old creator of the Pacha clubs Ricardo Urgell launched a documentary on the successful franchise. The documentary covered the whole history of Pacha. The first club was opened in 1967 in Sitges outside Barcelona, followed by a second club in 1973, known as Pacha Ibiza. It was fun to watch the documentary because I remember some of the parties and people the documentary included. Pacha was where everyone went, all the time, in Madrid, then in Ibiza, and I have so many great memories from it!
It was such an interesting documentary, I recommend watching it!- (especially during a hungover afternoon after an amazing night at Pacha…)

LOOK OF THE DAY 1.15

Still COLD?
NOT ANYMORE WITH
BENI ROOM  RACCON FUR

Beni Room is situated in the select area known as Barrio de Salamanca, Serrano 86,  in Madrid.  It's a multi-brand fashion store with a bohemian feel and really cool brands! I love the T-shirts selection from Wild Fox, and the cozy winter coats by Woolrich  but what I love the most is the  new range of ¨Benni Room¨ raccoon coats. The design is great with plenty of colors and made out of the softest fur, ever.  Everyone is wearing them at the moment !
In the photos I am wearing boots by Alexander Wang, bag Loewe and clothes Beni Room,
because I am a 100% Beni Room girl!
Love you sister, keep up the good work :)

SURPRISE : The earrings I am wearing are from my new collection Bombshell and they will be available online in my website and at Beni Room from next month.

TIP: Beni Room has just released their new website. So if you are not going to Madrid soon , I advise you take an online trip the shop so you don't miss the amazing clothes, accessories and colorful fur coats.

I am wearing boots by Alexander Wang, bag Loewe, American Apparel leggings and fur coat from Beni Room.

VOGUE PHOTO SHOOT FUR CHALLENGE Day 4

Day 4

"Accessories and Lunatics"
Tip 4: Don't be afraid to accessorise.

Just because you’re wearing a fur scarf, otherwise known as a statement piece, you don’t have to out-rule all other accessories. In this outfit I’m wearing a vintage hat with an American Apparel jumpsuit and my fox fur scarf. Accessories are the best, they can make a look. But they can also break a look. If you’re wearing a bright blue scarf, a neon pink jacket with butterflies, and a pair of clogs, and layers and layers of necklaces and bracelets – adding another accessory is not going to hurt, because you look awesome anyways. Check it out in Vogue.es !

Stay in tune for two more looks!

VOGUE PHOTO SHOOT FUR CHALLENGE Day 3

VOGUE PHOTO SHOOT
FUR CHALLENGE

Day 3

"I Don't Want To Go To School, I Just Want To Break The Rules"
TIP 3: Do what you want.

Hopefully I’ve been able to give you some constrictive advice this far, but if you’re not satisfied, or want to have more, here’s look 3 of the week. In this picture I’m wearing a jumpsuit from Topshop and my fox fur scarf. My tip for today is for you not to forget the funky, original items in your closet, like the jumpsuit. There is no one way of wearing a scarf, there are so many ways.

If you want to wear your fur scarf in a nightgown, I think you should. Remember all the fashion rules you’ve attempted at remembering, the ones you’ve read countless articles about? Yeah them. They're all rubbish. If you feel fabulous, you’re going to be fabulous. So, break the rules.

Stay in tune for look 4!

Tuesday

VOGUE PHOTO SHOOT FUR CHALLENGE Day 2

"You Don't Have To Be A Princess"
TIP 2: Combine fur with casual items.

This is the second look for the Vogue fur challenge! As I mentioned in my last post, it’s sometimes difficult to know HOW to wear your fur scarf, the must-have item this winter. But keep calm, help is on its way!
So in my second look I’m wearing a t-shirt - dress from Moschino and my fur scarf. My tip today is, be simple. Now, you might look at the picture and think that is NOT simple. But I’m going to tell you why it is. It’s a simple t-shirt dress, and I’m wearing a scarf with it. You don’t have to be wearing 20cm heels and a tiara to wear a fur scarf, you look like royalty anyways, yeah!

Saturday

VOGUE PHOTO SHOOT FUR CHALLENGE Day 1

Day 1

"Coming out of the Closet"
TIP 1: Clashing items is a do!

This year I decided to expand my selection of items and design a fur scarf. So I did!
I’m super happy that people seem to like it as much as I do myself, especially since the scarves bring so much color and happiness to the darkness of winter. However, I have gotten inquiries about HOW to wear my scarf.

When wearing a fur scarf in general, I don’t want to look like a 75 year old maiden, neither do I want to be projected as a street walker or a frivolous new money brat (don’t judge, we’re all thinking it). So why did you buy one? It’s an investment, you say, and I agree. You’ll be able to wear it forever, it will never go out of style. Therefore, I am going to give you 8 tips on how to wear a fur scarf, be it a colorful one like mine, or a classic one toned scarf. The first step is take it out of the closet, it’s been in there for long enough! Let it breathe fresh air, and live life to the fullest. Be daring, clash the patterns. Don’t be afraid to leave your comfort zone, listen to Nike and just do it. I promise you won’t regret it. Clashing a classic scarf with a free-spirited dress works just as well with a scarf with some free spirit, itself. Get into that closet and get out all your clashing clothes!

In the picture of the photo shoot I’m wearing my green for fur scarf with a dress from Topshop, Miu Miu ankle boots and a necklace from my collection ¨For your eyes only.

Stay in tune for day 2!

VOGUE SPAIN : THE SECRET IS IN THE MIX !

PRESS FEATURE IN VOGUE SPAIN

SPANISH STYLE ICONS ARTICLE

Thank you Vogue Spain for featuring me in this months issue.  Vogue chose five Spanish style icons to be interviewed for the article 'The Secret is in the Mix' which included myself.

They discussed how each individual combined high end designs with lesser known brands to achieve their signature look.  I explained that I like to keep a simple base, but add statement pieces to my look, such as a hat, flashy patterns, a bejeweled blouse, or my own designer pieces.

They focused on my development as a designer covering my blog for Spanish Vogue, developing my own brand, creating an online website, collaborating with Madrid Fashion Week,  moving to England and opening a shop in Shoreditch, designing for Topshop, and creating a popular blog for my Jewellery brand.

I love the style of the shoot wearing my favourite Miu Miu pants and my own jewellery.
Thanks to the amazing photographer and stylist Mónica Suarez and Ana Tovar.

THE PEACH DIVA

THE PONCHO FEEL
Starts getting colder!

SATURDAY: Here we are, Natalia and I during the last days of October.

Everytime the weather starts getting colder I find myself searching for cozy sweaters and warm jackets in my wardrobe.
I bought this poncho last year from Primark. I love that it´s so warm and cozy, perfect for today's cold winter day.
My sunglasses are form American Apparel and I am wearing my Opening Ceremony ankle boots.
On another note, I am completely obsessed with Natalia's 50's inspired style. I love her camel coat from American Apparel,XL platform creepers, and Rayban sunglasses. The rest of her clothes are from her amazing store in Bricklane, The Lazy Ones. To top it of, the matching rouge lips and peach hair are perfection.

Wednesday

THE KOOPLES & OPENING CEREMONY

This awesome jacket is one of my latest buy from The Kooples! It’s been hanging in my closet waiting for that perfect moment, and when these stunning heels from Opening Ceremony arrived the other day I knew it was time for it to come out and play!
The photos are taken at the back of my shop in Shoreditch, London. It has a patio with beautiful light and magic birds...

FEATURED IN THE OFFICIAL TOPSHOP BLOG UK

--------------------------------------------------

I'm so happy to have been featured in the official Topshop blog Inside-Out

I completed a Q & A  discussing my Freedom for Topshop collaboration, the source of my inspiration, my creative history
and what I imagined I would have been if not a jewellery designer.

It was certainly thought provoking and I am so happy that Topshop is taking a further interest in the development of my work as well as admiring my style.

This is certainly another highlight of my week!

You can now shop my new collection at Topshop's flagship store in Oxford Circus.

MY SISTER

GIRLS IN LONDON

DECORATION, MY NEW STORE AND INTERESTING PIECES.

I was so happy to see my sister this week!

She travelled from Spain to come and visit my new store,
look at my new designs and have a long catch up.
We also had time to go shopping, we even took an adventure around Shoreditch Highstreet,
visiting the galleries, vintage stores and coffee shops.
Here we are in Shoreditch having lunch in one of the many coffee shops
that pepper the Bricklane area.

Have a sneak peak at the glasses my sister is wearing, they are a new design, but I can say no more as I don't want to spoil the new collection that will be on its way soon...Watch this space!

This image is of the interior of a vintage clothes and furniture store a few
blocks away from my store in Shoreditch, 97-99 Sclater Street
We fell for the illuminous heart, and mirror made up of wing mirrors.
The shop was like a treasure trove filled with obscure and interesting pieces.
I could imagine filling my home with all the items that were being sold in that store.

Bea came at a great time as I wanted to change the interior of my store.
She is not only talented within fashion , but she´s always been amazing with interior design.
As you may all know she runs two boutiques in Spain that sell exclusive high fashion clothing.
She helped me a lot and gave me great advice.  It was so great seeing my sister in London ,
we had so much fun, we talked non stop and continuously laughed, as we always do.

Friday

MEMORIES IN BLACK AND WHITE, NYC AND LONDON

Having fun with instagram in black and white, my fur hat and my good friend Natalia outside my new shop in Shoreditch.
Natalia and I often meet together, to talk about our collections and discuss creative influences.
Natalia and Diego are the founders and designers of The Lazy Ones and own the fashion label Des Moines.
Her shop sits on the other side of the road, which is great as I can pop in and try on her new designs ( which I love ) .
Natalia's style is bold, with structure, black with strong patterns will be paired together alongside her long red hair and red lips which always finish off her look.
My recommendation, try The Lazy Ones green tartan trousers and new cozy jumpers, style and comfort wrapped up into one.
And finally my shop front has grown some lips! Actually we have painted them on, to celebrate The Art of Kissing and it´s success.

Last photo image brings back memories of New York fashion Week, and my adventures in the Meatpacking District.
The area is full of young designers, with small sophisticated shops, all beginning their journey into fashion.
The energy is palpable and inspiring. I believe it is like the Brick Lane of New York, combining Vintage with young design.
Im wearing an AllSaints ensemble of oversized T-shirt dress, with a hat, perfect for a long day of exploring.

MY COLLABORATION WITH DIESEL

DIESEL
My heart belongs to you
MY COLLABORATION WITH DIESEL

This red heart necklace was designed in collaberation with Diesel to celebrate the 1st anniversary of their Diesel Loverdose Perfume.  They say that their perfume holds a 'secret presence of 'Molecule A' which causes an addiction to love. Love can present us with strength and weakness and I wanted to produce a piece that reflected these aspects. I felt producing an acrylic human heart encompassed these initial thoughts. The heart provides us with strength to live however it is also fragile and delicate in nature. Opting for the colour red, not just to reflect the hearts natural colour, but to encompass the thoughts of passion and emotion. Swarovski crystals are enveloped by red droplets that surround the heart, breaking up the colour and adding another dimension to the piece.
I am wearing blouse from American Apparel, jeans Zara, sunglasses from Miu Miu, bag Zara, jumper from The Lazy Ones and ankle boots from Opening Ceremony.

You can buy the necklace by clicking here.
