I'm in Trinidad, colonial town in the province of Sancti Spiritus. The city is really beautiful, with pastel colored houses and small palaces.
There is a small market full of linen fabric with embroidered flowers, straw hats and bags, colorful shawls and hand made necklaces made of seeds. What surprises me is that all stalls have the same things to sell, something unthinkable in our world where all traders compete for having different and unique products. Everything is managed by the goverment who gives all the stalls the same things to sell. That's incredible.
The city is astounding ,very inspirational, poor but full of life , and we are touring it by bicycle.
Yesterday we ate the best lobster I have ever had in a grill place in front of the beach. It was so fresh and delicious. Caribbean stunning beaches with crystal clear water, this is a hidden paradise!

Tomorrow we will take the car to go to a little island two hours from Trinidad, Cayo Santa Maria!

Estoy en Trinidad, pueblecito colonial en la provincia de Sancti Spíritus . La ciudad parece muy cuidada, con casas de colores pastel y palacios.
Hay un mercadillo pequeño lleno de manteles de tela con flores bordadas, chales de colores hechos a mano y collares de semilllas. Lo que me sorprende es que todos los puestos tienen lo mismo, algo impensable en nuestro mundo donde todos los comerciantes compiten por tener productos diferentes y únicos. Aquí está todo gestionado por el gobierno que les dan a cada puesto lo mismo para vender. Es Increíble.
La ciudad es preciosa, pobre aunque llena de vida donde se respira tranquilidad, y la estamos recorriendo en bicicleta.
Ayer tomamos una langosta buenísima, muy fresca en un chiringuito en frente de la playa . Playas impresionantes caribeñas , con aguas cristalinas, todo un paraíso!
Mañana cogemos el coche para ir a una isla a dos horas de aquí, Cayo Santa María.
